车厢内变化不大，但采用了表面覆以真皮和麂皮的专属座椅，独特排挡杆，改款仪表群带有“Sprint”标志。其他亮点包括双温区空调，电致变色后视镜，高级音响，SYNC 2信息娱乐系统集成导航功能。

入门级的Falcon XR6 Sprint搭载一台4.0升六缸涡轮增压引擎，功率435马力，扭矩424磅-英尺（约合575牛米）。该车还具备超增压（overboost）模式，可将引擎功率和扭矩在瞬间增至496马力，扭矩达到479磅-英尺（约合649牛米）。而XR8 Sprint搭载一台5.0升V8机械增压引擎，功率462马力，扭矩424磅-英尺（约合575牛米），如果激活超增压模式，功率和扭矩可提升至536马力和479磅-英尺（约合650牛米）。

这两款车一共限量生产1400辆，其中XR8占850辆。至于价格，XR6 Sprint起价54990澳元（约合人民币25.93万元）；XR8 Sprint售价59990澳元（约合人民币28.29万元）。

 

Ford Falcon Sprint goes official with up to 536 hp

Ford has released new details about the Falcon XR6 and XR8 Sprint.

 

Set to go on sale in Australia in May, the limited edition models will feature black headlight bezels, new fog light surrounds, and 19-inch alloy wheels with a black finish. The carss will also come equipped with a rear spoiler, body side graphics, and a Brembo braking system with gold calipers.

 

The XR8 Sprint will go one step further as it will be distinguished by a Silhouette black roof and black mirrors.

 

The interior largely carries over but designers added special seats which are upholstered in leather and suede. Buyers will also find a unique shifter and a revised instrument cluster with Sprint badging. Other niceties include a dual-zone climate control system, an electro-chromatic rearview mirror, a premium audio system, and a SYNC 2 infotainment system with GPS navigation.

 

The entry-level Falcon XR6 Sprint is powered by a turbocharged 4.0-liter six-cylinder engine that produces 435 horsepower and 424 pound-feet of torque. The model also has an overboost function which temporarily increases the output to 496 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque.

Moving up to the XR8 Sprint rewards buyers with a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that develops 462 hp and 424 lb-ft of torque. Those figures climb to 536 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque when overboost is factored in.

 

Production will be limited to 1,400 units and 850 of them will be high-performance XR8 variants. The Falcon XR6 Sprint will be priced from $54,990 AUD, while the XR8 Sprint will start at $59,990 AUD.
