雪铁龙联合法国流行乐组合“HYPHEN HYPHEN”共同打造的“活力四驱概念车”——SpaceTourer HYPHEN将在下月初举行的日内瓦车展亮相。该车基于最新款雪铁龙SpaceTourer，结合了一系列生动出彩的车身涂装，而其配备的19英寸合金轮圈和橙色塑料防擦条则使该车具备了一定的雪铁龙Aircross范儿。雪铁龙希望这款车更像一辆SUV，因此增加了前后车底护板，悬挂离地间隙也进一步增加。这款车很明显是面向年轻人和喜欢冒险的消费者。车厢内装与车身一样结合了各种抢眼的颜色，突出视觉冲击力。车顶是一块硕大的玻璃天窗，让更多的光线照进车厢内，提升空间感。该车动力系统为一台BlueHDi 150涡轮柴油引擎，它具备启停功能，搭配的六速手动变速器将动力传递至适时四驱。而这个四驱系统是由雪铁龙与Automobiles Dangel共同开发的，可在行驶比较困难的路面提供更多牵引力，同时不会对车辆操控和性能造成影响。

 

Citroen SpaceTourer HYPHEN concept has "supercharged design"

Citroen has teamed up with French pop group “HYPHEN HYPHEN” to work on a “vibrant 4x4 concept” based on the latest SpaceTourer.

 

PSA and Toyota revealed the three new MPVs (Traveller, Spacetourer, Proace) a couple of months ago and now Citroen has applied a “supercharged design” for a bold concept. It combines a series of lively colors and sends out a bit of an Aircross vibe highlighted by the funky 19-inch alloys and plastic body cladding with orange accents.

 

Citroen wanted to make the SpaceTourer look more like an SUV and added front and rear underbody protection and jacked up the suspension to increase ground clearance. The concept obviously targets a younger audience and adventurous people looking for a versatile vehicle.

 

The interior theme is just as funky as the exterior as it combines a similar variety of striking colors and it also has a large glass sunroof that lets a lot of light come in and make the cabin more airy.

 

Power comes from a turbodiesel BlueHDi 150 engine with start/stop technology linked to a six-speed manual transmission sending power to an on-demand four-wheel drive system. The later was developed in collaboration with Automobiles Dangel and aims to offer increased traction on difficult terrains without affecting handling and the MPV’s standard performances.

 

Citroen will have the SpaceTourer HYPHEN concept on display at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show starting March 1.
