现代将在今年的印度车展发布HND-14 Carlino小型跨界车。该车长度不到4米，其竞争车型主要是福特EcoSport。从最近曝光的图片看，该车造型方正，似乎采用了隐藏式车门把手，侧后视镜也被摄像头所替代。车辆前后底部采用了护板，厚实的轮拱增加了车身侧面的厚重感。车身其他亮点包括细窄的LED前大灯，中间是全新设计的格栅，车尾是一对方形尾灯组，有点吉普Renegade的味道。尾门尺寸很小，车尾主要被硕大的后保险杠所占据。由于该车采用了不透明车窗，因此预计它的内装并没有完成，现代也不希望参观者能看到车厢内情况。预计现代将于明年初发布量产版车型，该车定位将低于Creta。这款车很可能与i20共享平台，搭载1.2升汽油和1.4升柴油引擎，搭配六速手动或四速自动变速箱和前轮驱动。

 

Hyundai Carlino small crossover concept unveiled at Auto Expo

Hyundai has taken the wraps off the HND-14 Carlino small crossover on the dawn of the 2016 Auto Expo in India.

 

Measuring less than four meters (157.4 inches), the Carlino is probably a sign of things to come in terms of a Hyundai rival for the Ford EcoSport. It looks blocky and seems to have flush door handles along with side cameras instead of conventional mirrors. The front and rear come with scuff plates for added protection and we also notice the bulging wheel arches housing a set of chunky rims.

 

Other noticeable features include the slender LED headlights flanking a newly designed front grille, while the rear end hosts a pair of square taillights that send out a Jeep Renegade vibe. The tailgate appears to be on the small side as most of the rear end is taken by the massive bumper.

 

Taking into account the concept has opaque windows, chances are the Carlino doesn’t have a finished interior cabin and Hyundai didn’t want Auto Expo visitors to see that.

 

A production version could arrive as early as next year and if that’s the case it will slot in Hyundai India’s lineup underneath the Creta. It will likely ride on the same platform as the i20 and could use 1.2-liter gasoline and 1.4-liter diesel engines. These should work with a five-speed manual gearbox and a four-speed automatic sending power exclusively to the front axle.
