Jaguar F-Type SVR leaked, has 575 hp

The Jaguar F-Type SVR has leaked to the web as Autovisie has obtained a brochure that details the model.

 

Billed as the company's "ultimate sports car," the F-Type SVR features a new front bumper with larger air intakes. The model also has a front splitter, a ventilated hood, and a unique rear wing that automatically extends and retracts according to the car's speed. Other notable highlights include a titanium exhaust system and 20-inch forged aluminum wheels with Pirelli P Zero tires.

 

The interior largely carries over but drivers will find a sport steering wheel, brush aluminum trim and quilted Performance seats with an Argyle-inspired pattern.

 

Power is provided by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that develops 575 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system which enables the coupe to accelerate from 0-100 kilometer per hour in 3.7 seconds before hitting a top speed of 322 kph (200 mph). The convertible offers similar performance but its top speed is slightly lower at 312 kph (193 mph).

 

On the topic of performance, engineers installed a high-performance braking system, an electronic rear differential, and a sport-tuned suspension with adaptive dampers.

 

The F-Type SVR will go on sale in the Netherlands in May, so an official launch should be just around the corner.
