奔驰将为电动车开发专门平台

奔驰正在为未来的电动车开发全新专属平台EVA,该平台某些部件与MRA平台共享,而MRA平台目前应用于从C级到S级各种车型。EVA平台将可容纳大型电池组,重量约为882磅(约合400公斤)。采用该平台的首款轿车将于2018年问世,其定位在C级车和E级车之间。奔驰随后还将推出一款定位在GLC和GLE之间的跨界车。未来还将增加S级尺寸电动车以及比GLS更大跨界车。后驱车型电机功率为402马力,而全驱车型还将增加额外电机,功率为120或201马力。这些车预计将配备自适应悬挂,扭矩矢量分配和高科技能量回收系统。奔驰计划每款车型年销量为2万辆,在英国市场起价7万英镑(约合人民币67万元)。
 
Mercedes developing a unique platform for electric vehicles
Mercedes is reportedly developing a new electric vehicle platform to underpin four upcoming models.
 
Car Magazine is reporting the platform will be called EVA and it will share a number of similarities with the MRA architecture that underpins everything from the C- to S-Class. While nothing is official at this point, the platform is being designed to accommodate a massive battery pack that will reportedly weigh about 882 pounds.
 
The first model to be built on the platform will reportedly arrive in 2018 and be a sedan that slots between the C- and E-Class. It will soon be followed by a crossover that bridges the gap between the GLC and GLE. Later down the road, Mercedes will reportedly launch an S-Class sized electric vehicle and a massive crossover that is larger than the GLS.
 
Rear-wheel drive variants are slated to have an electric motor that develops 402 horsepower. All-wheel drive models will be equipped with an additional electric motor and it will reportedly produce either 120 or 201 hp. The models are also expected to have an adaptive suspension, torque vectoring, and a high-tech energy recovery system.
 
Mercedes is reportedly targeting annual sales of 20,000 units per model and pricing is expected to start somewhere in the neighborhood of £70,000.
