Hyundai Sonata Sport Value Edition announced, priced from $24,350

Hyundai has announced the 2016 Sonata Sport will be offered with a new Value Edition package.

 

Priced at just $950, the package includes an assortment of styling and equipment upgrades.

 

Starting with the exterior, the model has been equipped with a sunroof, a hands-free Smart Trunk, and chrome door handles with welcome lights. The model also has LED daytime running lights, a dual exhaust system, and 17-inch alloy wheels.

 

Interior changes are limited but include sport seats with leather bolsters and cloth inserts. Buyers will also find heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a push-button ignition. The car also has an eight-way power driver's seat, a rearview camera, and a 7-inch Display Audio system with Android Auto compatibility.

 

Like the standard model, the Sonata Sport Value Edition is powered by a 2.4-liter GDI four-cylinder engine that develops 185 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque. It is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission which enables the car to return 25 miles per gallon city / 36 mpg highway / 29 mpg combined.

 

The 2016 Sonata Sport Value Edition is currently available at dealerships and pricing starts at $24,350 excluding an $835 destination and delivery fee.
