大众Amarok已经老态尽显，因此车厂已经在开发其改款车型了。新车将于明年中期发布，其内装将进行升级，而其配备的信息娱乐系统很可能兼容苹果CarPlay和安卓Auto。新车内饰也将进行改款，有望获得进一步升级。至于外观，不会有很大变化，其中前脸只是进行轻度改款，采用升级格栅和改款前大灯。动力系统仍与老款车一样，但会进行小幅升级以提升性能和燃油经济性。明年新车上市时将面临包括日产Navara，三菱Triton / L200和丰田HiLux的激烈竞争。

 

VW Amarok facelift slated for mid-2016

The Volkswagen Amarok is starting to show its age so it comes as little surprise the company is reportedly working on a facelifted variant.

 

According to CarAdvice, the updated Amarok will be introduced in mid-2016 and a feature an upgraded interior that will likely have an infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. The cabin is also slated to have revised trim and upholstery combinations but nothing is official as of yet.

 

On the styling front, there isn't much to report but the publication says we shouldn't expect anything to radical. This likely means the truck will have a modestly revised front fascia with an updated grille and restyled headlights.

 

Engine options will reportedly carryover but there could be minor modifications to improve performance and fuel efficiency.

 

The update comes at a critical time as the Amarok is facing stiff competition from newer competitors such as the Nissan Navara, Mitsubishi Triton / L200 and Toyota HiLux.
