起亚近日在韩国发布了2016款Optima混动版。起亚曾在9月的法兰克福车展宣布计划推出Optima混动版，现在该车的韩版车型被命名为“K5”，该车外观与普通版本非常接近。主要变化包括采用主动散热器格栅，在车辆高速行驶时可以自动关闭，从而消除空气阻力提升效率。此外，前后保险杠也进行了轻度改款，采用了专属16/17英寸合金轮圈。该车最大变化是动力系统，包括一台2.0升四缸GDI自然进气引擎，功率115千瓦/156马力，扭矩189牛米，另有一台电机功率38千瓦/52马力，扭矩205牛米，搭配专门为混动系统开发的六速自动变速器。是不是觉得这样的动力组合有点眼熟？没错，Optima混动版动力系统完全取自现代索纳塔混动版。

 

2016 Kia Optima Hybrid launched in South Korea

Kia has introduced a hybrid version of its new generation Optima in South Korea where it’s known as the K5.

It was at the Frankfurt Motor Show back in September when Kia announced plans to launch a hybridized Optima and now the model has made its debut in KDM specification with the “K5” badge and a design that’s pretty much the same as the conventionally-powered model. There are some minor changes to the radiator grille which boasts an “active air flap” that will automatically close when driving at higher speeds as a way to diminish air resistance and boost efficiency. The front and rear bumpers have also gone through mild surgery and there are some bespoke 16- and 17-inch alloy wheels.

 

The most important change has occurred underneath the hood where there’s a 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter GDI naturally aspirated engine producing 156 PS (115 kW) and 189 Nm (139 lb-ft) of torque. It works closely with an electric motor that generates an additional 52 PS (38 kW) and 205 Nm (151 lb-ft), with the power being sent to the wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission specifically designed for hybrids. If this hardware setup seems familiar, that’s because it was sourced from the car’s sister model, the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid.
