Chrysler 300 Super S brings HEMI power to SEMA

The SEMA news continues as Chrysler has introduced the 300 Super S concept in Las Vegas.

 

Designed to blend sophistication and style with attitude and performance, the one-off model has a matte blue exterior with black accents and a black roof. The car has also been equipped with tinted headlights, a lowering kit and a matte black grille with miniature Mopar “M” letters that are painted Dark Hyper Black. Moving further back, there's a new rear valence, a trunk-mounted spoiler and 22-inch alloy wheels with low-profile tires.

 

Chrysler declined to release interior photos but the company said the cabin features a flat-bottomed steering wheel and Katzkin light grey leather seats with blue contrast stitching. There's also Chrysler-branded door sill plates, premium floor mats and a trunk mat with metal accents. The rotary shifter has also been replaced by a new T-handle shifter.

 

Power is provided by a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine that has been equipped with the Mopar Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 Upgrade Kits that include CNC-ported high-flow cylinder heads, new exhaust manifolds, high-performance catalysts and an assortment of other upgrades. This enables the engine to produce up to an additional 75 bhp (55 kW) and 44 lb-ft (59 Nm) of torque.
