吉普近日在SEMA改装车展发布了牧马人Red Rock概念车。该车将在美国限量生产50台，用以纪念Easter Jeep Safari 大会50周年。Red Rock版加装了带散热孔引擎盖，车底护板，前后越野保险杠，并在两侧贴有“Red Rock”的专属装饰，采用JW Speaker的LED大灯和雾灯，17英寸防脱轮圈和35寸百路驰全地形KO2轮胎和Teraflex的加强备胎架，Warn绞盘，新的差速器盖等。在内饰上，采用Katzkin定制的棕色皮质座椅，并同样绣有“Red Rock”的专属标志。改装车的悬架底盘基于Rubicon而改进，拥有Rock-Trac分时四驱系统，Tru-Lok电子锁差速器，下一代Dana 44前后轴。

 

Jeep Wrangler Red Rock concept introduced, previews a new special edition

Jeep has introduced the new Wrangler Red Rock concept at SEMA.

 

Based on Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Hard Rock Edition, the concept pays tribute to the Red Rock 4-Wheelers off-road club that hosts the annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah.

 

Starting with the exterior, the concept has been equipped with a vented hood, rock rails and off-road bumpers with a Granite Crystal finish. The model also has a body-color grille, black accents and 17-inch beadlock wheels with 35-inch BFG K02 all-terrain tires. Other highlights include LED headlights, a Red Rock hood decal and front / rear tow hooks. There's also a Warn winch, new differential covers and a reinforced swing gate with a wheel mount.

 

The interior largely carries over but designers installed Amaretto Brown Katzkin leather seats with silver contrast stitching and “Red Rock” embroidery. The model also has a “Red Rock” grab handle plaque and a Jeep-branded CB radio.

 

To ensure the model can tackle the tough terrain of Moab, the concept has been equipped with a Rock-Trac transfer case, Tru-Lok electronic locking differentials and next-generation Dana 44 solid front and rear axles. 

 

Unlike most SEMA concepts, the Wrangler Red Rock concept will eventually spawn a road-going model. Production will be limited to 50 units as a nod to the Easter Jeep Safari's 50th anniversary.
