吉利近日发布新款紧凑型SUV博越，该车将于明年一季度上市。博越的意思是“轻松超越”。博越这个名称是由网友命名而来，据说有126万网友参与了新车的命名。目前吉利还未公布该车的技术细节，但该车将可兼容苹果CarPlay系统。吉利表示，博越将是吉利目前技术含量最高的车型，更多的融入了网络技术。从车厂发布的三张图片看，该车具备欧系车设计语言，包括肌肉感侧面轮廓，运动轮拱，而车头独特散热器格栅则取自GC9。
Geely reveals Bo Yue SUV ahead of early 2016 market launch
Chinese producer Geely has partially unveiled its new compact SUV, called the Bo Yue.
First of all, the company explains the name of the car means “easily win”. It has been selected through an online competition among the brand’s fans in web forums and the Weibo social network. In total, 1.26 million people voted in the online poll. Geely says an English name has yet to be chosen.
Technical details regarding the model are not available at the moment, but it will be the first Chinese vehicle to gain Apple CarPlay technology. Geely says it will also be the company’s “most technology packed vehicle to date” and represents plans to “focus ever more on the integration of internet technologies”.
We’ve got only three images of the model so far, showing an European design language with muscular side profile, athletic wheel arches and a front end featuring the company’s distinctive radiator grille, also seen in the GC9.
The Geely Bo Yue will be launched in the first quarter of 2016 with its English name and technical specification expected to be announced prior to launch.
