Hyundai Genesis Coupe Tjin Edition previewed ahead of SEMA reveal

Hyundai and Neil Tjin are providing a sneak preview of their “extreme” Genesis Coupe set to premiere early next month at SEMA in Las Vegas.

 

Joining the Tucson Adventuremobile, this heavily modified Genesis Coupe takes its inspiration from the world of underground racing and uses a 3.8-liter Lambda V6 equipped with a Vortech supercharger and built by the experts from Bisimoto Engineering. The motor is capable of pushing out in excess of 500 bhp (373 kW) and this was also achieved by implementing a free-flowing exhaust system, a Vortech front mount intercooler and a blow-off valve.

 

Aside from packing more punch, the Genesis Coupe Tjin Edition gets three-piece 19-inch Rotiform HUR wheels wrapped around in Falklen FK345 tires and benefits from a new set of KW coilovers providing the vehicle with a more imposing look. It wears a striking Kylie Tjin Axalta green exterior paint and has received custom Baer x CBA Extreme Plus brake calipers.

 

In terms of exterior changes, the modified Genesis Coupe comes with an aftermarket front lip, a new trunk lid, LightWurkz headlights and a rear wing while on the inside it gets a roll cage and custom Alea leather upholstery.

 

Neil Tjin’s first official Hyundai show car for SEMA will make its debut on November 3.
