日产在东京车展发布了IDS概念车，这款可自动驾驶的四座掀背车基本上可以看作是新一代聆风的设计雏形。这款纯电动掀背车采用全部碳纤维车身，车顶位置更低，高度仅为1.38米。该车的四个车轮尽量向四角延伸以便最大限度扩大车厢内部空间。它的前格栅造型有点类似堆砌的冰块，每一个蓝色小方块都是透明的，与银色车身非常搭配。而车尾则非常具有运动感，顶部设有扰流器，下面是回飞镖形尾灯组，不过尾门设计得非常不实用，开口非常窄。依据驾驶者选择传统的手动驾驶模式还是“piloted”自动驾驶模式，这款IDS概念车提供有两种不同的座舱配置。如果选择手动模式，驾驶员像常规一样操控车辆，所有座椅朝前，同时抬头显示器提供所有相关数据。在该模式下，背景照明是蓝色的，据日产介绍，这有助于提高驾驶员的注意力。如果选择“piloted”自动驾驶模式，方向盘收缩进中控台内，然后有一个硕大显示屏弹出。所有四个座椅向内转动，形成一个类似客厅的环境，这时内部照明也变成更柔和的光线，让人感觉更舒服。IDS概念车搭载60千瓦时电池，足以应对长距离行驶。不过日产并未透露该车具体续航里程。

 

Nissan IDS concept unveiled with electric powertrain and autonomous driving tech

Nissan has unveiled the IDS concept which will premiere tomorrow at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show.

 

Nissan is giving us a taste of what’s to come for the second generation Leaf as the IDS concept is an all-electric hatchback that takes advantage of a full carbon fiber body and has a low roof height of just 1,380 mm. They wanted to maximize interior cabin space which is why the wheels are positioned close to the corners of the body to enable a longer wheelbase providing enough cabin room for up to four adults.

 

The front grille was shaped to mimic a stack of ice blocks and has a pattern that makes it look transparent and blends nicely with the bluish satin silver body. As for the rear end, it appears quite sporty with the roof-mounted spoiler and boomerang shaped taillights, but the tailgate seems to be hugely impractical as the opening appears to be very narrow.

 

Once you get inside, there are actually two cabin configurations depending on whether Manual Drive or Piloted Drive is selected. If manual mode is on, the driver is in control of the car and all of the seats face forward while up front the steering wheel is inspired by the reins from horse riding and there’s also a head up display providing all the relevant data the driver will need. In this mode, the ambient lighting is blue which according to Nissan helps the driver concentrate better.

 

Put the concept into Piloted Drive mode, the steering wheel recedes into the instrument panel’s center and then a big screen comes out. All four seats will rotate slightly inward to create the feeling of a living room and there’s also soft light illumination to make everyone feel nice and cozy.

 

The IDS concept comes with a large 60 kWh battery which has enough juice for long journeys, but Nissan doesn’t specify an exact range although it should be quite generous given the low weight of the vehicle granted by the all carbon fiber body.
