最新报道称，捷豹正开发E-Pace纯电动跨界车和新的直列六缸引擎。捷豹最近发布的F-Pace并非车厂唯一跨界车，目前车厂正计划推出更小的E-Pace。这款车将是一辆纯电动跨界车，它采用更顺滑的设计，平滑侧面轮廓和大倾角风挡，车尾则采用逐渐变细的锥形设计。该车竞争车型主要是奥迪即将推出的Q6 e-tron，由于E-Pace采用了主被动空力套件，风阻将降至0.28。据传该车将在在奥地利格拉茨生产，将采用D8平台，内部结构与路虎发现运动版共享。除了E-Pace，捷豹还计划用全新直列六缸引擎替代现行的V6引擎，该引擎源自Ingenium引擎，预计将搭载在2017年底投产的车型上，包括3.0升排量汽油和柴油引擎。无论汽油还是柴油引擎都将有三种不同的动力输出，其中汽油引擎功率分别为300/400/500马力，柴油引擎分别为275/335/400马力。

 

Jaguar allegedly working on electric E-Pace and inline-six engines

A new report states Jaguar is developing a fully electric E-Pace crossover along with a new array of inline-six engines.

 

The recently introduced F-Pace won’t remain Jaguar’s sole crossover choice for a very long time as the company allegedly has plans to roll out a smaller E-Pace that is expected to come in the following years. According to sources close to the British marque, it will take the shape of an all-electric vehicle with a sleek design featuring a flowing silhouette and a heavily raked windscreen while the rear end will adopt a tapered configuration.

 

You could think of it as an equivalent to Audi’s upcoming Q6 e-tron and apparently the second crossover to wear the Jaguar badge will benefit from passive and active aerodynamic aids which will lower the vehicle’s drag coefficient to 0.28. Rumored to be produced in Graz, Austria, the Jaguar E-Pace is expected to use an adaptation of the D8 platform that has underpinned the Land Rover Discovery Sport.

 

According to the same report, Jaguar has plans to replace its V6 engines with a new lineup of inline-six motors derived from the current crop of Ingenium units. These are expected to show up in production cars towards the end of 2017 and will have a 3.0-liter displacement offered in both gasoline and diesel flavors. Apparently there will be three power stages for each, with the gasoline units getting 300, 400 and 500 bhp whereas the diesels will have 275, 335 and 400 bhp.
