2016 Toyota Prius c unveiled with a new special edition
Toyota has taken the wraps off the 2016 Prius c.
Since the model was refreshed for 2015, this year's changes are relatively minor and include the addition of the optional Toyota Safety Sense C (TSS-C) system which includes Automatic High Beams, Lane Departure Assist and a Pre-Collision System.
The 2016 Prius c also gains a new Persona Series which features a Black exterior with Cherry Pearl or Electric Lime accents. The model also has “Persona Series” badging and 15-inch alloy wheels with a black finish.
Additional changes are limited but the car has two-tone fabric seats, cruise control and a six-way adjustable driver's seat.
Like the standard model, the limited edition is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that is backed up by an electric motor. This setup enables the car to produce a combined maximum output of 99 bhp (73 kW).
The Prius c Persona Series will go on sale in December and production is limited to 1,500 units.
