
丰田近日发布了第四代普锐斯规格和技术细节,新车基于新开发的TNGA平台。该车搭载一台与老款车相同的1.8升四缸VVT-i汽油引擎,但进行了全面改进,热效率与柴油引擎相比提升40%。该引擎输出功率72千瓦/97马力@5200转/分,扭矩142牛米@3600转/分。丰田重新设计了驱动桥和电机,后者功率为53千瓦/73马力,由于采用新的多轴设计,内部机械摩擦降低20%。驱动桥长度进一步缩短,或许是由于安装了驱动马达和电机/多轴发电机。至于电池,新的镍氢电池位于后排座椅下面,并未对行李箱容积造成影响。由于丰田将辅助电池从行李箱移到引擎室,使第四代普锐斯的行李箱容积达到502立升。丰田还将在10月28日开幕的东京车展对新一代普锐斯进行展示。
Toyota reveals Prius technical specification and promises 18% better fuel economy
Toyota has released complete technical specifications of the fourth-gen Prius based on the newly developed TNGA platform.
Power comes from the same 4-cylinder, 1.8-liter VVT-i gasoline engine, but in this latest application it has been thoroughly revised and offers a thermal efficiency of 40% which according to Toyota is comparable to a diesel engine.
In terms of output, the four-cylinder DOHC combustion engine is capable of developing 97 bhp (72 kW) at 5,200 rpm and 142 Nm (105 lb-ft) of torque at 3,600 rpm. Toyota redesigned the transaxle and 73 bhp (53 kW) electric motor to lower mechanical losses through friction by approximately 20% thanks to a new multi-axle design. The transaxle's length is now shorter and this was possible by installing the drive motor and electric motor/generator over multiple axles.
As far as the battery is concerned, it's a new nickel-metal (NiMH) pack that now sits beneath the rear seats and it does not affect the trunk's capacity which in this fourth generation has grown to 502 liters also helped by the fact that Toyota moved the auxiliary batteries from the trunk to the engine compartment.
Toyota has announced the all-new Prius will be on display starting October 28 at the Tokyo Motor Show in Japan.
