Next-gen Nissan Juke rendered with Gripz and Kicks influences
The 2016 Nissan Juke has been virtually envisioned by RM Design ahead of next year start of production.
Earlier this month Nissan announced it will be investing 100M GBP at its Sunderland factory, where the next generation Juke will be manufactured, and now we have some quite credible renderings, previewing the model.
The attached digital images are based on the Kicks concept but we also see some influences from the Gripz concept, unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The design is a little bit toned down compared to the current model, but there are still quirky vibes coming from it.
From what we know about the new Juke so far, it will ride on the new CMF-B platform that will also underpin the next-gen Micra and Renault Clio. Given the fact that the Gripz concept featured a hybrid powertrain, it could be assumed the Juke could also receive such a system, but there’s still no confirmation.
