Jaguar XE & XF pricing announced (US)

Jaguar has announced U.S. pricing for the new XE and the redesigned XF.

 

Starting with the XE, the entry-level 25t will be priced from $34,900. It features a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 240 bhp (179 kW) and 251 lb-ft (340 Nm) of torque.

 

Buyers looking for something more powerful can opt for the XE 35t which starts at $41,700 and has a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that produces 340 bhp (253 kW) and 332 lb-ft (449 Nm) of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission which can be paired to an optional all-wheel drive system.

 

On the diesel side, there's the $36,400 XE 20d. It has a 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel engine that develops 180 bhp (134 kW) and 318 lb-ft (430 Nm) of torque. Rear-wheel drive is standard but all-wheel drive is optional.

 

The XE will go sale next spring as a 2017 model and will be offered in XE, XE Premium, XE Prestige and XE R-Sport trims.

 

Moving on, the redesigned XF will be offered with two supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engines. The entry-level model costs $51,900 and has an output of 340 bhp (253 kW), while the higher-end variant starts at $62,700 and boasts 380 bhp (283 kW). Both models have a standard eight-speed automatic transmission which can be to an optional all-wheel drive system.
