2017 Hyundai Equus spied in Germany

The 2017 Hyundai Equus has been spied near the company's Nürburgring testing center.

 

Looking larger and more refined than its predecessor, the flagship has a prominent grille that is flanked by smaller, sweptback headlights. Moving further back, we can see a rakish windscreen, door-mounted mirrors and chrome window surrounds. The model also has a dual exhaust system and a C-pillar that echoes the Chrysler 300.

 

Hyundai has been tight-lipped about the next-generation Equus but it will likely feature a 5.0-liter V8 engine that develops at least 420 bhp (313 kW) and 383 lb-ft (518 Nm) of torque. It will be connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission which can be paired to a newly optional all-wheel drive system.
