布加迪近日正式发布了Vision Gran Turismo概念车，该车将在法兰克福车展进行展示。布加迪表示，全新布加迪Vision Gran Turismo采用了赛车的设计理念，这主要是为了庆祝布加迪汽车光辉的赛车运动历史，更是将赛车运动技术应用到极致的实际表现。在1920年和1930年，布加迪汽车曾经两次在勒芒24小时耐力赛中取得桂冠。布加迪汽车相关人士介绍，对于这款全新Vision Gran Turismo概念车的设计团队来说，有两点是至关重要的。第一，这款全新布加迪概念车在视觉上必须是一款完美的车型，容不得一点瑕疵。第二，车辆的每一个细节之处，都具有着实际的功能和意义。据报道，全新布加迪Vision Gran Turismo概念车在设计上与Polyphony Digital Inc。电子游戏开发公司进行了合作，达到了更理想的商业效果。从外观感，该车具备典型的布加迪设计DNA，包括车身侧面线条，马蹄形散热格栅，八眼LED前大灯，线条犀利的定风翼等。在车身尾部，大尺寸碳纤维尾翼和四镀铬排气尾喉也体现了车辆无与伦比的运动性。

 

Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo revealed, debuts in Frankfurt

Bugatti has officially unveiled the Vision Gran Turismo concept that will be showcased during the 2015 IAA as a “real show car”.

 

The French supercar manufacturer explains “the design of the virtual race car is celebrating Bugatti’s racing history and is based on state-of-the-art motor sport technology”. Also, “the project is the brand’s tribute to its great racing tradition of the 1920s and 1930s and its victories in Le Mans 24-hour races.”

 

Generally, two were the most important things for the designers of the concept, Bugatti says. First, the virtual car is supposed to look “unmistakably like a Bugatti” and, second, every part of the vehicle should have a real function. Developed in cooperation with Polyphony Digital Inc., creator of the Gran Turismo video game franchise, the virtual race car is based on “cutting-edge racing technology and precise aerodynamic analyses.”

 

Looking instantly recognizable, the study features the most important characteristics of Bugatti’s design DNA, including the side profile, the ‘horse shoe’ front grille, flanked by “eight-eyed” LED headlights, and the center fin, employed in two versions on the concept - one on the front and rear wings and the other running the length of the roof.
