Bentley Bentayga Speed spied for the first time

The Bentley Bentayga will be unveiled shortly and it appears the company has already begun working on a high-performance variant.

 

Tentatively dubbed the Bentayga Speed, the high-performance model features a front lip spoiler and a new bumper with larger air intakes. Moving further back, we can see aerodynamic side skirts, a larger rear wing and a reworked rear bumper. The crossover also has massive alloy wheels which are backed by a high-performance braking system.

 

Little else is known about the model but a quick check of the license plate reveals the prototype has a 6.0-liter engine. This likely means the crossover will be powered by an upgraded version of the twin-turbo 6.0-liter W12 TSI engine that normally develops 608 PS (600 bhp / 447 kW) and 900 Nm (663 lb-ft) of torque.
