Euro-spec Nissan Navara NP300 revealed, debuts in Frankfurt

Nissan has detailed the European specification of the new Navara, wearing the Navara NP300 moniker on the Old continent.

 

This vehicle is visually identical to the model, revealed last year and features the same upscale look with a pronounced V-shaped chrome radiator grille. The projector headlights have integrated LED daytime tunning lights, while the turning lights have been incorporated in the side mirrors.

 

The pickup comes with a new 2.3-liter dCi diesel engine that is “up to 24 per cent more efficient than the unit it replaces and is the cleanest and most economical in its sector”, according to the manufacturer. The biturbo unit will be available in two power output options – 160 PS (118 kW) and 190 PS (140 kW).

 

Offered for the new Navara will be a standard six-speed manual transmission and a seven-speed automatic gearbox. Two and four-wheel drive systems are also available.

 

The Japanese company has equipped the model with plenty of technologies, including the Around View Monitor and Forward Emergency Braking (FEB), Cruise Control, Hill Descent Control (HDC), Hill Start Assist (HSA), keyless entry, rear camera, parking sensors, etc.
