奔驰C级敞篷车合成图近日曝光，该车将于明年发布，很可能会选择在3月的日内瓦车展期间首次亮相。该车内部编号A205，采用电动折叠软顶，AIRSCARF颈部暖风系统和AIRCAP自动挡风系统。据传该车价格将低于SLK改款车。在标准版推出六个月之后将发布AMG版本，该车将搭载4.0升V8双涡轮增压引擎。

 

Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet render sees into the future

WCF reader Tobias Hornof from Germany has sent us a trio of renders depicting next year's Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet.

 

You probably have seen your fair share of spy shots with the C-Class Convertible and now that the coupe is out and about, it's fairly easy to imagine how the open-top version will look like. Although earlier reports indicated a Frankfurt reveal in mid-September, that's unlikely to happen now as Mercedes-Benz probably isn't willing to share the S-Class Convertible's spotlight with another roofless car.

 

This means a more probable reveal will occur in March next year at the Geneva Motor Show and obviously the car will eschew the coupe's fixed metal roof in favor of an electrically retractable fabric top. It is codenamed A205 and just like all the other convertibles with the three-pointed star it will get the AIRSCARF (neck-level heating) and AIRCAP (air deflector) systems.

 

If you haven't heard, rumors say the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet will actually be cheaper than the upcoming SLK facelift set to adopt the SLC moniker. Roughly six months after the standard versions will be out, the hot-flavored AMG derivative will join the range with the twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter sourced from the other three body styles.
