宝马下代M3和M4将采用插电混动系统

宝马高管近日透露,下一代M3/M4将采用插电混动系统。这两款车将搭载3.0升六缸TwinPower引擎,扭矩至少比现行版增加100牛米。这台引擎负责驱动后轮,而另有一台电机驱动前轮。据此该系统还将配备类似KERS的制动能量回收系统,车辆在纯电动模式下的续航里程约为32公里。虽然插电混动系统会增加车辆重量,影响性能,但最新的锂电池重量更轻,而新一代M3/M4也将更多的采用碳纤维材质以降低车重。
 
BMW execs reportedly confirm the next M3 / M4 will be a plug-in hybrid
Several BMW officials have reportedly confirmed the next-generation M3 / M4 will have a plug-in hybrid powertrain.
 
According to The Detroit Bureau, the model will use an upgraded TwinPower 3.0-liter six-cylinder that produces at least 100 Nm (73 lb-ft) more than today's car. One BMW M executive went on to say the engine would power the rear wheels while an electric motor (or motors) would motivate the front wheels. The hybrid system is also rumored to have a KERS-like recovery system as well as an electric-only range of roughly 20 miles (32 km).
 
Unsurprisingly, some employees have been critical of a plug-in hybrid M car as they fear the weight could spoil the performance. However, lithium-ion batteries are becoming lighter and the next-generation M3 / M4 will use more carbon fiber than today's model.
