雪铁龙近日宣布，将在法兰克福车展发布Cactus Méhari概念车。雪铁龙CEO Linda Jackson表示，车厂考虑恢复Méhari车型，现在看来，事情的进展比预期的更快，该车即将在9月15日开幕的法兰克福车展发布。由于该车采用塑料车身，因此重量更轻。车厂形容该车“新鲜，充满活力”，“让人重温传奇车型Méhari的精神”。预计该车将比Cactus更前卫，并且采用当年的帆布软顶。当然，为了防雨，也可以选择防水塑料车顶。

 

Citroen Cactus Méhari concept to debut at Frankfurt Motor Show next month

Citroen has announced plans to show a Méhari-inspired concept of the C4 Cactus at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.

 

Almost two months ago we heard Citroen CEO Linda Jackson saying they are thinking about a Méhari revival and it seems this will happen sooner than expected. A concept of the Cactus inspired by the plastic-bodied lightweight utility vehicle will be shown at IAA in September and it is being described as a "fresh and invigorating" derivative of the Cactus that "revisits the spirit of the legendary Méhari."

 

Additional details are not available at this point, but we expect the modern Méhari to be even more peculiar than the Cactus and will likely adopt a canvas roof like the original version which was also optionally offered with a waterproof plastic hard top.

 

The Méhari-inspired C4 Cactus is set for a September 15 reveal during a press conference on the dawn of the Frankfurt Motor Show.
