马自达官方发布了旗下全新Koeru跨界概念车预告图，新车将亮相在今年9月份的法兰克福车展，或为CX-4雏形。日语单词“koeru”有超越之意，此款新车的发布也预示着马自达将要进军跨界SUV这个细分市场，且将竞争对手锁定在宝马X4和奔驰GLC双门轿跑车。从趣图中我们不难看出新车马自达标志性的进气格栅以及前大灯组，大胆的前端设计充分反映出了马自达最新的设计语言。与此同时，新车后悬较短，安装细长的侧后视镜和后扰流板，优美动感的线条贯穿于整个车身，使得此车非常年轻运动，完全符合马自达“魂动”的设计主题。

 

Mazda teases Koeru sporty crossover concept ahead of Frankfurt debut

Mazda has published a teaser image with their new Koeru crossover concept set to debut next month at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

 

It has received this name from the Japanese word "koeru" which means to "exceed" or "go beyond" in Japanese and this concept could serve as a sneak preview for a CX-4 production model. The attached official render shows the latest evolution of Mazda's Kodo design language with a low roofline and an aggressive front end as well as the typical oversized wheels as seen in many other concepts. It seems to have a very short rear overhang and has been fitted with slender side mirrors and a roof-mounted rear spoiler.

 

It appears that Mazda wants to jump on the crossover coupe bandwagon to rival segment models such as the BMW X4 and Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe. However, we will have to wait until next month to find out if the concept will actually make it to production in the years to come as a CX-4.
