现代i30 N将在9月开幕的法兰克福国际车展亮相。外观方面，据了解，这款现代i30 N车型将基于新款i30车型打造。但由于是高性能版本，所以肯定少不了运动包围的外观套件，这个套件将包括全新设计的前进气格栅、保险杠、后扰流板、多辐式合金轮圈等。此外，新车的悬架系统还将采用全新的调校，刹车系统也进行了升级。动力方面，据外媒猜测，这款车很有可能会搭载的一台2.0T涡轮增压发动机，最大功率220千瓦/300马力@6000转/分，峰值扭矩383牛米@2000转/分。另外，该车还将匹配四轮驱动系统。

 

Hyundai i30 N reportedly heading to Frankfurt with 300 PS AWD setup

According to a report from Australia, the Hyundai i30 N will be introduced next month at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

 

It was late 2013 when Hyundai established its "N" performance arm and at that point it was believed the i20 would be the first to get a more focused version, but now it seems the larger i30 will lead the way. It has already been spotted and now we are hearing from Australian magazine GoAuto that it will be unveiled in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

 

Interestingly, the report specifies it will be more than just a hardcore version of the front-wheel drive 186 PS i30 Turbo as the range-topping N derivative will allegedly get an all-wheel drive system and a larger 2.0-liter turbocharged engine derived from the RM15 mid-engined concept where it develops 300 PS (220 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 383 Nm (283 lb-ft) of torque at 2,000 rpm.

 

The i30 N will go through some serious changes to accommodate the all-wheel drive system and the punchy larger 2.0-liter engine, with some saying that it will actually ride on a newly developed modular platform for compact cars.

 

At this point it's not very clear if the vehicle set to be showed at IAA will be a concept or a production version, but it will be interesting to see whether the i30 N will in fact be an all-new car compared to the other i30-badged models.
