丰田将很快为凯美瑞提供一台2.0升四缸涡轮增压引擎。该引擎将替代目前丰田和雷克萨斯多款车型搭载的V6引擎。丰田最近发布的2016款雷克萨斯IS就用新的2.0升四缸涡轮增压引擎替代了原来的2.5升V6引擎，该引擎功率179千瓦/241马力，扭矩349牛米。不过，丰田的主流引擎仍将是自然吸气，由于采用更高效的阿特金森循环燃烧技术和新的CVT变速器，仍可维持较高的燃油经济性。

 

Toyota Camry to go turbo in the coming years

The Toyota Camry will soon be offered with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine.

 

Automotive News is reporting the engine will replace a number of V6s used in various Toyota and Lexus models in the coming the years. Most recently, the company announced the 2016 Lexus IS would eschew the previous 2.5-liter V6 for the new turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder which produces 241 bhp (179 kW) and 258 lb-ft (349 Nm) of torque.

However, the company's mainstream four-cylinder engines will continue to be naturally-aspirated but should benefit from a more efficient Atkinson-cycle combustion process and new continuously variable transmissions.
