马来西亚设计师Theophilus Chin近日绘制了下一代丰田Supra和日产370Z合成图。他以丰田TF-1概念车为基础绘制了Supra合成图，该车由丰田和宝马共同开发，车身尺寸与保时捷911类似，采用铝制框架底盘，碳纤维增强塑料车门面板，更轻盈灵活。该车动力系统为一台3.0升直列六缸引擎，功率250千瓦/335马力，插电混动版功率353千瓦/473马力。值得一提的是，丰田最近注册了S-FR这一新的名称，不知道是否会应用于2017年发布的这款运动车上。至于新一代日产370Z则比老款车售价更低，新车在上市之初将提供targa车顶和奔驰提供的2.0升四缸引擎和电机及七速自动变速器，综合输出功率184千瓦/247马力，而未来将推出的高性能版则搭载奔驰提供的3.0升V6引擎。新车将于明年发布，不过将会被命名为“Z35”，而在10月的东京车展上，日产将发布其概念版车型。

 

Next generation Toyota Supra and Nissan 370Z rendered

Automotive manipulator" Theophilus Chin is back with two renders showing his vision of the next generation Toyota Supra and Nissan 370Z.

 

He used the Toyota FT-1 concept as foundation for elaborating the new Supra which we all know it's being co-developed with BMW and recently we heard it will have roughly the same size as the Porsche 911. It will feature an aluminum spaceframe chassis wrapped around in carbon fiber reinforced plastic panels so it should be very light and nimble.

 

In terms of engines, reports are indicating the availability of an inline-six 3.0-liter pushing more than 335 bhp (250 kW) along with a plug-in hybrid version rated at 473 bhp (353 kW). It should be mentioned that Toyota might not use the Supra moniker as recently they registered the S-FR nameplate which could be used for the much anticipated sports car due in 2017.

 

Moving on to the Nissan 370Z replacement, it will apparently be cheaper and could be offered initially only with a targa top and a Mercedes-Benz-derived four-cylinder 2.0-liter engine working together with an electric motor and a seven-speed automatic transmission. This hardware arrangement should provide a combined output of 247 bhp (184 kW) while later on there's going to be a high-performance version with a V6 3.0-liter engine also from Mercedes-Benz.

 

It will apparently be out sometime next year and might receive the "Z35" designation. We could get a first taste of the car towards the end of October at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show where Nissan is expected to show a concept.
