Kia Sportage Axis Edition announced

Kia has introduced the Sportage Axis Edition special model that is available to order from today.

 

The limited edition model comes with standard roof rails, black gloss arrow mesh radiator grille with chrome surround, LED daytime running lamps, rear LED combination lamps and a roof-mounted “shark’s fin” antenna. The equipment also includes automatic headlights and electric folding door mirrors with LED indicators.

 

Stepping inside the cabin, you will find seats in black leather with contrasting grey Dinamica microfiber inserts, light grey door inserts, black headlining, black B and C pillar coverings and black sun visors, grab handles and map light switches. There’s also a privacy glass and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror.

 

The Sportage Axis Edition will be offered with a 1.6-liter GDI petrol unit with 133 bhp (99 kW) and 165 Nm (122 lb-ft) and with a 1.7-liter diesel with 114 bhp (85 kW) and 260 Nm (192 lb-ft). Both are front-wheel-drive models featuring a six-speed manual transmission linked to the company’s Intelligent Stop & Go (ISG) engine stop-start system.
