福特终于公布了福克斯RS搭载的2.3升EcoBoost引擎功率达到257千瓦/350马力，扭矩440牛米，如果激活overboost（超增压功能），扭矩可提升至470牛米并持续15秒。福特表示，福克斯RS搭载的这台2.3升引擎取自野马，最高转速限制在6800转/分，有效扭矩转速范围2000-4500转/分。不过遗憾的是，福特没有宣布该车百公里加速时间和最高时速。

 

Ford announces 350 PS output for thefuke Focus RS

Ford has finally disclosed output numbers for the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine powering the long-awaited Focus RS . 

 

When the Blue Oval company unveiled the hot hatch back in February, they said its four-cylinder turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine churned more than 319 PS (315 bhp / 235 kW), without revealing any torque figure at all. Now, the final numbers have arrived and the all-wheel drive compact hatchback will offer 350 PS (345 bhp / 257 kW) and 440 Nm (324 lb-ft) of torque, with 470 Nm (347 lb-ft) available for up to 15 seconds when overboost is activated. 

 

Ford says the all-aluminum engine borrowed from the Mustang has a rev limit of 6,800 rpm and offers all of the torque in the 2,000 to 4,500 rpm range. Unfortunately, we still don't know how quick the Focus RS is in the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/) sprint and also there aren't any details about its top speed.
