美国本田公司执行副总裁John Mendel最近宣布，本田将于今年秋季发布新一代思域。新车将“提供更优异驾驶乐趣和同级车型最佳燃油经济性及安全性”。新车将提供两种不同的引擎，其中一台引擎高速路油耗可达40英里/加仑（百公里油耗约合5.88升）。不过遗憾的是，新一代思域将取消混动版和CNG版本，因为本田认为标准款思域将足够节油能够满足大部分的驾驶者。

 

New Honda Civic coming this fall, Civic Hybrid & Civic CNG to be axed

American Honda Motor Executive Vice President John Mendel has announced a series of changes to the company's eco-friendly lineup.

 

First and foremost, Mendel confirmed the tenth-generation Civic will be launched this fall and will "deliver fun-to-drive performance in concert with top-in-class fuel efficiency and safety." The model will be offered with two different engines and one of them will enable the car to return more than 40 mpg highway.

 

Unfortunately, the Civic Hybrid and Civic CNG will be dropped as a result as Honda feels the standard Civic will be fuel-efficient enough to satisfy most drivers.
