2016 Subaru Forester unveiled with minor updates

Subaru has announced the 2016 Forester will be priced from $22,395 when it goes on sale in the United States later this year.

 

Since was model was recently redesigned, this year's changes are relatively limited and include a new STARLINK infotainment system with either a 6.2- or 7.0-inch display. 

 

Premium, Limited and Touring variants also gain a SUBARU STARLINK Safety and Security system which provides SOS Emergency Assistance, Enhanced Roadside Assistance, Automatic Collision Notification, Maintenance Notifications, Monthly Vehicle Health Report and Diagnostic Alerts.   Customers can also order the STARLINK Safety Plus & Security Plus Package which adds a number of other features including a Stolen Vehicle Recovery Service, Vehicle Security Alarm Notification, Remote Lock/Unlock, Remote Horn and Lights and Remote Vehicle Locator.

 

Last but not least, models equipped with the EyeSight system gain new steering-responsive fog lights.
