Land Rover builds a Range Rover Hybrid LWB for the Queen

Land Rover has built a new State Review vehicle for Queen Elizabeth II.

 

Jointly created by Land Rover Design and Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations, the one-off model is based on the long-wheelbase Range Rover Hybrid and lacks a roof over the rear passenger compartment.

 

Land Rover didn't have much to say about the model but the Range Rover Hybrid LWB features a 3.0-liter SDV6 diesel engine and an electric motor that produce a combined output of 340 PS (250 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. It enables the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h 6.9 seconds before hitting a top speed of 218 km/h (135 mph).
