Nissan e-NV200 gains seven-seat version for UK market

Nissan is introducing a seven-seat version of the e-NV200 electric vehicle in United Kingdom which will be available from next month.

Compared to the regular five-seater, this new version adds two full-size seats in the back that can be individually folded and stowed whenever there's need for additional cargo capacity. Nissan says the e-NV200 has enough room inside the cabin for seven adults or for up to 2,940 liters for carrying items once you fold down the second and third rows of seats. If all the seven seats are in place, the vehicle still has a generous 870-liter capacity.

The 2015 Nissan e-NV200 (UK-spec) kicks off at ￡19,895 (including the Government Plug-In Car Grant) when leasing the battery while buying the car together with the battery increases starting price to ￡23,400. Speaking of the battery, it has enough juice for up to 106 miles (170.5 km) and can be charged to an 80% level in only half an hour.
