大众近日发布了2015款辉腾中国版小改款车型。该车对车辆内外装进行了改款和升级，增加了更多高端配置。首先在外观上，新车配备的双氙气前大灯造型与老款车略有不同，另外格栅上下两部分增加了镀铬装饰。侧后视镜增加了加热和电控折叠功能并内置LED转向灯。倾斜滑动电动天窗增加了挡风板，配备隔热车窗玻璃，全新造型LED尾灯组。车厢内增加了后排座椅娱乐系统，包括两个10.2英寸显示屏，信息娱乐系统集成8英寸触控显示屏，增加实木装饰和丹拿Temptation音响及12声道数字功放。至于动力系统，2015款辉腾可提供三种引擎，其中3.0升V6 FSI功率184千瓦/250马力，扭矩310牛米；3.6升V6 FSI功率206千瓦/280马力，扭矩370牛米；顶级款4.2升V6功率246千瓦/335马力，扭矩430牛米。搭配4MOTION全驱和六速变速器。大众在中国发布2015款辉腾改款车之前刚刚宣布辉腾退出英国市场。而新一代辉腾目前正在开发之中，距离发布还有好几年，该车将搭载大众最近刚刚发布的6.0升W12 TSI引擎，其百公里综合油耗11升。
Volkswagen Phaeton soldiers on in China, gets subtle facelift
Volkswagen has applied a mild cosmetic update for the aging Phaeton sold in China, the model's biggest market.
The changes start at the front where the bi-xenon headlights now have slightly different graphics with a black look while the upper and lower grilles make more extensive use of chrome. It boasts electrically-folding and heated side mirrors with built-in LED turn signals, slide & tilt automatic electric sunroof with wind deflector, insulated windows and fresh graphics for the LED taillights.
Stepping inside the cabin, there's a rear seat entertainment system with dual 10.2-inch screens, 8-inch touchscreen display for the infotainment system, additional wood trim and a DYNAUDIO Temptation sound system with a 12-channel digital amplifier.
In terms of engines, the 2015 Volkswagen Phaeton (CN-spec) can be had with a V6 FSI 3.0-liter engine developing 250 PS (184 kW) and 310 Nm (229 lb-ft), a beefier V6 FSI 3.6-liter rated at 280 PS (206 kW) and 370 Nm (273 lb-ft), followed by a range-topping V8 4.2-liter generating 335 PS (246 kW) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft). All three engines send their power to a 4MOTION all-wheel drive system through a six-speed transmission.
The reveal of a facelifted Phaeton for China comes only a couple of days after Volkswagen announced plans to phase out the full-size sedan from the UK market. A second generation is in the works and will be out in a couple of years and one of the engines will be the recently unveiled W12 6.0-liter TSI which will enable the new Phaeton return 22 mpg US (26.4 mpg UK or 11 liters / 100 km) in the combined cycle.
