下一代大众途锐合成图近日曝光,新车将于2017年上市。大众的这款新一代SUV很可能借鉴CrossBlue概念车的某些设计元素，新车外观更精致，更显档次。去年10月，谍照记者曾拍到采用老款奥迪Q7车身的下一代途锐测试车，从开发进度看，量产版原型车将于今年底进行测试，新车将于2016年下半年正式发布。新车与新款Q7共享MLB Evo平台，因此预计新车重量也将大幅降低。新款Q7 3.0 TDI重量下降了325公斤，而如果新款途锐也具备相同降幅的话，车重可降至1995公斤。同时，新车动力系统预计也将与Q7共享，根据市场需要还有可能推出插电混动版本，后者将采用汽油或柴油引擎并搭配电机。

The next generation Volkswagen Touareg has been speculatively rendered ahead of a market launch likely scheduled for 2017.

 

VW's big SUV could adopt some styling influences from the CrossBlue concept which served as foundation for this speculative render so we should expect an evolutionary design enabling a more refined look granting the Touareg with a more premium feel.

 

A test mule wearing the body of the old Audi Q7 was caught on camera back in October last year which means it will be a while until the car will come out, possibly towards the end of 2016. It will ride on the same MLB Evo platform as the new Q7 so there should be a massive weight drop which in the case of the Q7 3.0 TDI has enabled a 325 kg (716.5 lbs) diet, thus allowing the SUV from Ingolstadt to weigh 1,995 kg (4,398 lbs).

 

Volkswagen's third generation Touareg will likely get just about the same array of engines as the Q7, including plug-in hybrid versions that depending on the market will be available with gasoline and diesel engines teamed up with an electric motor.

 

Chances are prototypes carrying the production body will be on the roads later this year, prior to an official reveal at a major auto show in the second half of 2016.
