Suzuki iM-4 crossover reportedly approved for production

Suzuki has reportedly green-lighted a production version of the iM-4 concept.

 

Citing company insiders, Auto Express is reporting the model will be launched in 2018 and have "very few" styling changes.

 

Engine options remain unconfirmed but the magazine says the model will be offered with two petrol engines: a turbocharged 1.0-liter Boosterjet and a 1.2-liter Dualjet from the Swift. Front-wheel drive will be standard but all-wheel drive will be optional.

 

If everything pans out, the model will compete with the Fiat Panda / Panda 4x4 and cost approximately ￡11,000.
