下一代宝马7系侧身照近日曝光，预计该车将作为2016款车型在9月的法兰克福车展首次亮相，随后将于年底上市。从照片来看，作为旗舰的7系使用了大量镀铬装饰条来凸显豪华定位，因此很可能是Luxury Line顶级款。另外，新一代7系大量采用碳纤维增强塑料材质，因此车重将比现行版降低130公斤。动力方面，新7系将搭载最新一代六缸引擎和改进版的八速Steptronic变速箱和空气悬挂。而车厢内还将预装集成触控显示屏的iDrive车载系统。新车还将支持手势操控技术，遥控停车系统。

 

2016 BMW 7-Series side profile completely revealed

The next generation BMW 7-Series (G11) has returned in a revealing shot of the side profile, prior to this year's official debut.

 

It was on New Year's Eve when several spy photos of the new and undisguised 7-Series emerged onto the web and now there’s another one providing a look of the side profile which as you can see has received a significant amount of chrome trim. Chances are the model in question is the Luxury Line version while the others won't get as much chrome.

 

BMW recently announced its new flagship model will lose 130 kg compared to the outgoing model thanks to several bits and pieces made from carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP). It will receive latest-gen six-cylinder engines and a revised eight-speed Steptronic transmission while inside the cabin it's getting a touchscreen iDrive system, representing a first for a BMW. The new 7-Series will also have support for gesture control technology, a remote parking system and a two-axle air suspension equipped with automatic self-leveling.

 

A full reveal is expected in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show, with sales to commence by the end of the year.
