2016 BMW M2 will reportedly have 370 PS

According to a recent report, the 2016 BMW M2 will be less powerful than originally expected.

 

Citing sources deep within BMW, a 2Addicts poster says the highly-anticipated model will use a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine that develops 370 PS (272 kW) and 465 Nm (342 lb-ft) of torque - 500 Nm (368 lb-ft) with overboost. If these numbers pan out, the M2 will have 44 PS (32 kW) more than the M235i which can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in as little as 4.8 seconds before hitting a limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).

 

Besides revealing the rumored performance figure, the poster said the M2 will only be offered with four colors at launch: Alpine White, Black Sapphire metallic, Long Beach Blue metallic and Mineral Grey metallic.
