标准雪铁龙近日宣布,将于2020年推出第二代电动车。公司CEO Carlos Tavares在年度股东大会上表示，新一代电动车的续航里程将进一步增加，价格也将更平易，性能更优异。新车将与车厂B级和C级车共享EMP1平台。车厂还将组建新的集团专门开发电动车以便能占领从低端到高端所有市场。在此之前，标致雪铁龙还将于2019年推出汽油电动车插电混动，该车将与下一代标致508和雪铁龙C5共享EMP2平台。这位高管表示，车厂目前正在着手解决电池的问题。虽然有传言称DS将成为首个推出插电混动车型的品牌，但这一点并未获得车厂证实。标致雪铁龙只是表示，插电混动车将用于高端车型。

 

PSA launching second-gen EVs in 2020 with longer range and lower prices; plug-in hybrid due 2019

PSA has announced plans to roll out its second generation of electric vehicles starting 2020.

 

CEO Carlos Tavares mentioned during the annual shareholders meeting that PSA's second-gen EVs will benefit from an extended range and will come at a more affordable price tag. He went on to specify the electric vehicles are going to provide better performance and the cars will ride on the upcoming EMP1 platform which will underpin the company's B and C segment models. Tavares added he established a new group to specifically work on EVs which will occupy "the bottom of the market upwards."

 

Before that, PSA plans to launch a plug-in hybrid gasoline-electric model in 2019 based on the EMP2 platform which will also form the basis of the next generation Peugeot 508 and Citroen C5. Tavares declared they are currently trying to figure out the battery technology to use while the "architectural aspects" have been taking care of already.

 

Reports have indicated the DS luxury marque will be the first car to get the plug-in hybrid setup, but PSA has not commented on these rumors. They are saying this system will make its debut on a high-end model, but it's identity is not known at this point.
