最近,荷兰独立设计师Remco Meulendijk绘制了下一代大众辉腾合成图。从图片看，这就是一辆放大版的帕萨特。不过设计师认为，第二代帕萨特就应该长这样。据说，新一代辉腾将于明年底发布，新车将更注重舒适性。为了达到这一目的，新车将配备带有摄像头和传感器的空气悬挂以监控路面，及时调整悬挂设置，使行驶更顺畅。还有消息称，新一代辉腾在时速60公里以下可实现半自动驾驶并具备超车功能。

 

 

Next generation Volkswagen Phaeton render shows a bigger Passat

The next generation Volkswagen Phaeton has been rendered by independent artist Remco Meulendijk of RM Design.

 

There's no sign yet of Volkswagen's upcoming flagship model, but we won't be too surprised if it will look more or less like an enlarged Passat. This is also Remco's opinion who envisioned the second generation Phaeton full-size sedan like a Passat LWB. The reasoning behind the existence of the Phaeton has always been questionable since Audi is in charge of the luxury department within VAG, but Volkswagen still wants to keep the Phaeton alive as the crown jewel of the brand.

 

According to the latest gossip, it's slated to come out towards the end of next year and aims to be "the most comfortable car in its segment." Auto Motor und Sport said a while back that Volkswagen wants to make the Phaeton more comfortable than the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and one way to do that is install an air suspension using a camera and sensors to spot road imperfections and make the necessary corrections to grant a silky smooth ride.

 

Reports are indicating the all-new Volkswagen Phaeton will also benefit from a semi-autonomous system working at speeds of up to 37 mph (60 km/h) and incorporating an overtaking function.
