Peugeot announces GT Line trim for 208, 308, 508 and RCZ
Peugeot has introduced the GT Line trim for the 208, 308, 508 and RCZ models in the UK.
The GT Line models can be identified by their larger wheels, twin exhaust tailpipes, full LED headlamps (308 and 508), LED directional indicators (308 and 508) and LED rear lights (208, 308 and 508).
The smallest vehicle in the new range – the 208 GT Line, comes with a choice of three engines – the 1.2-liter PureTech with 110 PS (81 kW) with manual or automatic transmissions or the 1.6-liter BlueHDi diesel in either 100 HP (74 kW) or 120 PH (88 kW) outputs. The GT Line trim is based on the Allure trim and features an ‘Equalizer grille’ with red 3D markings, a gloss black grille and front fog lamp finishers, 17-inch Caesium alloy wheels, gloss black door mirror shells, chrome window surrounds and a chrome exhaust finisher. The cabin boasts black and red sports seats with red stitching, which is repeated on the door panels and gear lever gaiter.
Next is the 308 GT Line, which can be ordered as a hatchback or an estate, for which the company says each one has a total of 142 LEDs. The new line features 18-inch Diamant alloy wheels, lower side sills, black lacquered diffuser and finishers, twin exhaust tailpipes. The interior has been equipped with red stitching for the Alcantara leather seats, specific full-grained leather steering wheel, door panels, dashboard and gear lever gaiter. GT Line on 308 will be available with a 1.2-liter PureTech turbo unit with manual and automatic gearboxes, a 2.0-liter BlueHDi with 150 PS (110 kW), again mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed auto.
The 508 GT Line, available as a sedan or an estate, benefit from full-LED headlamps and LED foglamps, 18-inch alloy wheels and twin exhaust tailpipe finishers on the rear skirt. The cabin is marked by red stitching for the half-leather seats, the mats and the gear lever gaiter. Power is provided by either a 1.6-liter BlueHDi with a 6-speed manual or the EAT6 automatic transmissions or a 2.0-liter BlueHDi with 150 PS (110 kW) with a 6-speed manual transmission.
Finally the RCZ GT Line features 19-inch alloy wheels, Xenon headlamps with titanium masks, gloss black door mirrors, twin exhaust tailpipes and a GT Line badge in the grille. The sporty coupe is powered exclusively with a 1.6- liter THP turbo petrol engine with 200 PS (147 kW), mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
