Volvo has announced the XC90 T8 Twin Engine will be priced from $68,100 when it goes on sale in the United States this summer.

Volvo declined to release detailed specifications but the entry-level Momentum variant will feature “Thor’s Hammer” LED headlights, power front seat cushion extensions and a hand blown Orrefors crystal gear knob.

Buyers looking for something sportier can opt for the XC90 T8 R-Design which starts at $70,000.  It features an aggressive front fascia, matte silver mirror caps and a dual exhaust system.  The model also has Nubuck and Nappa leather seats as well as a perforated leather steering wheel with paddle shifters.

The range-topping XC90 T8 Inscription will start at $71,600 and reward buyers with a luxurious cabin that has Nappa leather seats, linear wood trim and a leather-wrapped dashboard.  The model also has a silver matte grille and additional chrome trim.

All the aforementioned models are powered by a plug-in hybrid powertrain that consists of a turbocharged and supercharged 2.0-liter Drive E engine as well as an electric motor.  It enables the crossover to produce a combined maximum output of 394 bhp (293 kW).  This enables the model to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 5.7 seconds and travel approximately 17 miles (27.3 km) on electricity alone.
