Subaru has introduced the new Exiga Crossover 7 in Japan.
Previewed by a similarly named concept, the production model features a prominent grille, plastic body cladding and LED daytime running lights. The model also has roof rails, a tailgate-mounted spoiler and 17-inch alloy wheels.
The exterior styling won't win everyone over but the cabin comes nicely equipped with leather seats, piano black trim and metallic accents. Other notable highlights include heated front seats, alloy pedals and an infotainment system.
Power is provided by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 173 PS (127 kW) and 235 Nm (173 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a continuously variable transmission and a symmetrical all-wheel drive system.
The Exiga Crossover 7 will go on sale next month and pricing starts at ￥2,550,000
