2016 Acura RDX pricing announced, goes on sale tomorrow

Acura has announced the 2016 RDX will be priced from $35,270 when it goes on sale in the United States on April 16th.

 

Originally unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show, the facelifted RDX features modified bumpers, a revised grille and new Jewel Eye LED headlights. The crossover also gains restyled LED taillights and updated alloy wheels.

 

Interior changes are limited but there's high-contrast silver trim and additional standard equipment including heated front seats and second-row air vents. 

 

Customers can also order a new Advance Package that adds rain-sensing wipers, fog lights and front / rear parking sensors. The package also includes an auto-dimming driver's side mirror, ventilated front seats and a navigation system - among other things.

 

Power is provided by a new 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 279 bhp (208 kW) and 252 lb-ft (341 Nm) of torque - an increase of 6 bhp (4 kW) and 1 lb-ft (1 Nm). It is connected to a new nine-speed automatic transmission which enables the crossover to return 20 mpg city / 29 mpg highway with front-wheel drive and 19 mpg city / 28 mpg highway with all-wheel drive.
