Volkswagen GTI Supersport Vision Gran Turismo revealed

Volkswagen has officially unveiled the GTI Supersport Vision Gran Turismo for the GranTurismo 6 game.

 

The virtual supercar is based on the Golf GTI and acts as a successor to the GTI Roadster Vision Gran Turismo.

 

The three-door hardcore hatch features a super aggressive body kit with widespread use of carbon elements. Thanks to this the power-to-weight ratio is 2.5 kilograms per horsepower, while “proportions and body surfaces have been optimized for an extremely low center of gravity”, as Volkswagen says. Notable design elements are the massive lower radiator grille and the huge splitter in the front bumper, the prominent roof spoiler and the rear diffuser.

 

Power is provided by a VR6 TSI engine with 503 PS (370 kW) and 665 Nm (491 lb-ft), mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and a 4MOTION all-wheel drive system. This is enough for a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint in 3.6 seconds and a top speed of over 300 km/h (186 mph).
