福特近日发布了全新2016款Galaxy 七座MPV。新车在外观设计上没什么新意，采用了渐进式改款，某些元素取自最新款S-MAX。车头采用阿斯顿马丁风格格栅，看起来更显档次，外观上小的变化使整车更高端。由于是一辆商务车，因此内部空间的宽敞就显得很重要，这款七座车的后两排座椅的椅背可以完全放平以扩大储物容积。在地板下也隐藏了一个20立升的储物格，内部可容纳一个1.5升瓶子。座椅下和仪表板顶部同样有储物格，中控台内储物空间可容纳智能手机和其他小尺寸物品。2016款Galaxy还标配用于观察后排儿童的后视镜，同时由于采用新的座椅技术，第二排和第三排头部空间增加了10毫米，第三排座椅的扶手还有储物空间，可以存放硬币和水杯。该车还标配福特SYNC2信息娱乐系统，支持声控和紧急辅助功能。如果愿意多掏钱还可选装免提尾门。该车动力系统包括160马力1.5升和240马力2.0升EcoBoost汽油引擎，柴油引擎包括120/150/180马力2.0升以及动力更强的210马力/450牛米2.0升TDCi双涡轮柴油引擎。为提升安全性，该车配备了多项安全和辅助驾驶系统，包括第二排侧气囊，弯道控制，防翻滚稳定控制，智能限速，带行人侦测的预碰撞辅助系统，侧向来车警示系统，交通信号识别系统，车道保持警示等。

 

2016 Ford Galaxy goes official as an all-new model

Ford has unveiled their all-new people mover which comes with seven full-size seats.

 

There's not much to talk about in terms of design as the large MPV takes the evolutionary route and borrows some styling cues from the latest S-MAX. The Aston Martin-inspired grille makes it look more upscale while the subtle cosmetic tweaks provide the Galaxy with a slightly more upscale appearance.

 

Since this is a van, focus was on the spacious interior cabin that hosts seven full-size seats and the possibility of folding flat the second and third rows of seats necessary when carrying voluminous cargo. Underneath the food floor there's a hidden storage which has a 20-liter capacity while the door bins can accommodate 1.5-liter bottles. There's also under-seat storage, more cargo room in the instrument panel top, along with a media storage area in the center stack for smartphones and various other similarly-sized devices.

 

The 2016 Ford Galaxy will be equipped as standard with a child-watch mirror while the new seat technology and contouring has increased headroom by 10mm for second and third row passengers. Moreover, those sitting on the third row seats enjoy an additional 40mm of headroom and have their own armrest storage bins and cup holders.

 

It comes with Ford's SYNC2 infotainment system with support for Voice Control and Emergency Assistance. At an additional cost, owners can configure the Galaxy with a hands-free liftgate that is opened or closed by a kicking motion underneath the rear bumper.

 

In terms of engines, the new Galaxy will be available with a 160 HP 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine along with a beefier 240 HP 2.0-liter EcoBoost. On the diesel side, there's a 2.0-liter TDCi with 120 HP, 150 HP and 180 HP, along with a more powerful bi-turbodiesel 2.0-liter TDCi generating 210 HP and 450 Nm.

 

As you would expect from a people-carrier, the 2016 Ford Galaxy is available with a generous array of safety & assistance systems, including second-row seat side airbags, Curve Control, Roll Stability Control, Intelligent Speed Limiter, Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection, Cross Traffic Alert, Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane Keeping Alert.
