奔驰将于6月发布GLC紧凑型跨界车。奔驰已经采用了全新的车辆名称命名方法，GLC就是原来的GLK，之所以命名为GLC是为了显示其与C级车共享同一平台。新车除了采用更现代设计和新平台，还将推出右舵版本和搭载3.0升V6双涡轮增压引擎的AMG Sport版本。而顶级款为GLC 63，该车将搭载一台动力更强劲4.0升V8双涡轮增压引擎。新车将比原来的GLK更大以便进一步扩大其与GLA之间的距离，预计新车内部空间更宽敞，内装布局类似C级车。新车将于今年三季度上市。
Mercedes-Benz GLC to debut in June
new report coming from Germany indicates Mercedes-Benz will unveil the GLC compact crossover in June.
Mercedes-Benz is implementing a new nomenclature which also affects the outgoing GLK as the model will be renamed GLC as a reference to the similarly-sized C-Class upon which it will be based.
Aside from the more modern design and new platform, the GLC brings some other novelties as it has been engineered for RHD markets and it will likely spawn an AMG Sport derivative with a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 sitting underneath the fully fledged Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 which is getting a beefier twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8.
Mercedes-Benz has decided to make the model a little bit bigger to create enough distance from the GLA so expect a more accommodating interior cabin with a layout heavily influenced by the C-Class as seen in a recent batch of spy images.
Sales of the GLC should kick off in the third quarter of 2015.
