Subaru Tribeca successor could look like an enlarged version of the Outback
Fuji Heavy Industries' senior vice president of global marketing has revealed some new details about the Subuaru Tribeca successor.
Speaking to Automotive News, Nobuhiko Murakami said the model will face strong competition from the Honda Pilot, Nissan Pathfinder and Toyota Highlander so they're working on ways to help it stand out from its rivals.
While Murakami was coy on specifics, the publication is reporting Subaru is trying to decide if the model should look like an enlarged version of the Outback or feature distinctive styling that is unique to the model.
There's no indication as to which way the company is leaning but Murakami confirmed the model will have three rows of seats and be primarily aimed at American consumers. He also revealed the crossover will be more accommodating than the Tribeca and the arrangement the seats is still under discussion.
